About Me

Thank you for visiting my blog!  My name is Ann.  My husband and I have been married for 12 years and live in a small town outside St. Louis, MO. I am a stay-at-home mom of two wonderful, energetic children, ages 2 and 6. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and many years of experience teaching Sunday School classes, children's church groups, etc. In my free time I love to use coupons to score great deals, work in my vegetable garden (currently a weed patch!) and go to garage sales. Someday when the kids are older, I may even get back to scrapbooking, sewing and quilting! :)
I started this blog out of a feeling of conviction. It is partly to hold myself accountable for teaching my children at least one Biblical lesson/devotion per day.  Since I'm a busy mom, I'll also try to use supplies that most moms would have on-hand already.  I want this to be as easy and "excuses-free" as possible for myself and others.  Recently, I have also felt lead to create some sort of age-appropriate, hands-on, Biblical curriculum for kids in classes or groups of all sizes. (I'm still seeking God's will on the details here!) So, in addition to teaching my own children, I hope and pray that other families and children's workers might have a few more ideas on teaching kids of God's love in creative, fun and inexpensive ways!
